I am convinced that all of us, no matter where we are in life, are looking for something.
Maybe we’re looking for success. Or happiness. Or perhaps personal fulfillment.
Some of us might just be looking ahead one day at a time. But the fact is we’re
looking.
Wherever you are on your search, we at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church
have good news to share with you: the God who made you knows you by name, loves
you, and wants to be in relationship with you. And this same God has done everything
necessary to make that relationship happen. In the life, death, and resurrection
of Jesus of Nazareth, God did that by becoming one of us: by teaching us, by suffering
death on the Cross, and by rising from death on Easter morning.
The amazing thing is that all of this is nothing less than a free, loving gift from
God. We did not earn it, and we never will earn it. We call this gift “grace”, and
we call our trust in what God has done “faith “. The Bible teaches us that it is
only by God’s grace, through faith, that we are saved – that is, reconciled with
God forever. In fact, God promises us that death will not have the last word.
Resurrection is a loving community of people who live in this amazing grace. We
worship together, we pray together, we play together, we study the Bible together,
and we grow together.
We invite you to join us on the journey.
